The web like it used to be.

Little by little, the internet is being monopolized by bad actors seeking to take as much of your time, attention, and money as possible. It is slowly ceasing to be a space where we can share art and knowledge, and becoming a cesspool of privacy invasion and competition among peers and acquaintances.

This place, like many other websites, is an escape from all of that. A place where I can post my photos without worrying about likes and comments, where I can use GIFs as pfps without having to pay a monthly subscription (fuck you, Discord), and where I can maintain a unique aesthetic of my own, instead of having my artistic freedom taken away by a single misguided update.
